RinseRate is a free estimating app for pressure-washing and exterior-cleaning professionals, published by Nyxora (“we,” “us,” “our”). App package name: com.nyxora.rinserate.
We built RinseRate to be private by design. Everything the app does to build a quote — your price list, your customers, your saved estimates — happens on your device and stays there. There are no user accounts and no analytics, and we never sell or rent anything about you. Two optional features do reach the internet: the ads in the free version, and the AI assistant available to Pro subscribers. Both are described in full below, and neither one touches your price list or your saved quotes.
To do its job, RinseRate lets you enter and save information such as:
All of this is stored only on your device, in your browser’s/app’s local storage (localStorage). It stays on the phone or tablet where you entered it. We never see it. There is no cloud sync and no online account behind this app. The one exception is the sentence you choose to type into the AI assistant, which has its own section below — nothing else on this list is ever transmitted.
To be completely clear, RinseRate does not:
Apart from the ads and the AI assistant described below, the app makes no network calls at all — the whole quoting flow works with no signal.
The optional RinseRate Pro subscription is billed and processed entirely by Google Play under Google’s own terms and privacy policy — the app itself never sees or stores your payment details or identity data. It only receives Google Play’s confirmation that the subscription is active.
The free version of RinseRate shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. A banner appears at the bottom of the builder, and a full-screen ad may appear occasionally between quotes. Trial and RinseRate Pro users see no ads at all — subscribing removes them entirely.
To serve those ads, Google's advertising SDK runs inside the app and may access your device's advertising identifier and related technical information. That data goes to Google, not to us: we never receive it, and it is handled under Google's own privacy terms. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings under Privacy → Ads.
Where the law requires it (the EU, the UK and similar), the app shows Google's consent form before requesting any ad, and your choice there governs whether personalised ads are used.
Nothing in your price list, your saved quotes, or your customers' details is used for advertising. That information never leaves your device — see above.
RinseRate Pro includes an assistant you can describe a job to in one sentence. It is idle unless you use it: nothing is sent until you type something and submit it, and the free version has no access to it at all.
When you do submit a description, this is exactly what happens:
rinserate.stellarworkbydl.workers.dev, which we run on Cloudflare Workers) and passed on to Anthropic, the AI provider, purely to produce the draft that comes back to you.Because the description does leave your device, please describe the work rather than the person: avoid customer names, addresses and phone numbers. A description of the job is all the assistant needs.
RinseRate is a business tool intended for professional contractors and is not directed at children. The app asks for no personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has used the app, simply clearing the app’s local data removes anything they may have entered on the device.
The safest data is data that never leaves your device — and RinseRate keeps your business information local by design. Your price list, your customers and your quotes sit on no server of ours, so on that side there is nothing to breach and nothing to intercept.
We also build the app defensively: outside the advertising SDK and an AI request you chose to send it makes no external network calls, user-entered text is rendered safely to avoid injection, and imported backup files are validated and size-limited before use. That said, the data on your device is ultimately protected by your own device’s security (screen lock, encryption, and who has access to it), so please secure your phone or tablet accordingly.
If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and post the new version at the same public URL. Because the app’s privacy model is fundamental to how it works, we do not expect material changes. If a future version of the app ever introduced an optional feature that handled data differently (for example, an opt-in cloud sync), we would update this policy first and clearly describe it.
